What is an independent travel advisor?
An independent travel advisor is an agent who works remotely for a host agency and books and designs travel for clients. As independent advisors, we have the freedom to work with any travel supplier, but through our host agency we have access to a wide array of travel partners which can translate into great savings and support for our clients. More importantly, an independent travel advisor will give you back your time and personalized service!
Which host agency is Daily Travel Dose LLC (DTD) a part of?
DTD is part of Travel Quest, an affiliate of Travel Leaders Franchise Group. This group is one of America’s largest travel agency and travel management companies with approximately $20 billion in annual sales.
What is DTD's speciality?
Daily Travel Dose is specialized in luxury vacations to the islands of French Polynesia, Fiji, Hawaii and Australia. We are also happy to craft your travels in the state of Arizona as this is our home state (and it's beautiful).
We are a certified PEARLS partner for award-winning Paul Gauguin Cruises, a certified WindStar Cruises expert, and a Tahiti Tiare Agent as well. We also completed destination specialist courses for the Islands of Hawaii, Fiji and Australia!
Daily Travel Dose LLC is also a proud member of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA), as well as of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).
We are also enrolled in the certification course for luxury travel with the Travel Institute and Travel Leaders.
Continuous education on the best island destinations, tour operators, resorts, cruise lines is very important to us.
What is your own travel experience? What do you know about the world?
DTD's founder, Ann Bishop, aka The Traveling Belgian, has been traveling since high school. She hails from Belgium, lived in Finland (during the winter months!) to complete a study abroad/internship program, lived on the East Coast of the USA, lived in London (near the District Line), lived and worked in Dordrecht (The Netherlands) and has now settled in Arizona. She also completed a certification course to be a Tour Director from the International Tour Management Institute in San Francisco and passed the tour guide license exam for New York City in 2010.

Do you charge a fee for travel planning and personal assistance?
Yes, a fee of $175 is charged if you want DTD to craft a personalized itinerary for you. This fee is waived if you sail on a cruise! We will also be available to you throughout this entire journey and will advocate for you in case things are not going as planned during your trip.
Personalized communications and a travel gift are just some of the perks of booking with us.
Because we love referrals, we also have a referral program. If you refer a client to us, which results in a vacation booking with DTD (and the client completes the trip), you will receive a $50 gift card from us!
Do you book domestic US airfare only?
We cannot help you with booking a domestic airfare ticket (air only). The best option to book domestic airfare only is to search online (e.g. Google Flights, Kayak).
Do you recommend travel insurance?
This is a big YES!! You will decide if you want to add travel insurance to your travel reservation and we can provide you with quotes. Traveling with travel insurance in these sometimes hectic travel times will give you peace of mind and perhaps some money back in your pocket.
